The only personal data we currently process are email addresses.

When an individual requests that they wish to receive supporter updates, we will obtain their e-mail address - this can be done by written or electronic request, e.g. via the sign-up facility on our website.
What we do with this information
We collect this information so that we can update supporters with details of future activities and campaigns, etc. We take care to protect your personal information. We take steps to ensure that access to personal information is restricted to BAI committee members who need it and that all BAI committee members who handle personal information are fully trained and kept up-to-date on our data management, security and privacy practices. Our committee members are notified and reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure your information is protected.
How long do we keep this information?
Personal data shall be stored for as long as required for the purpose they have been collected.
Sharing of Personal Information
We do not share personal information with third parties. Any personal information which is provided to BAI will only be used by BAI for the purpose(s) for which it is provided.
How can personal data be removed?
If you no longer wish us to retain any personal information relating to you, simply e-mail us at info@burmactionireland.org requesting that we remove your personal information from our system.
